The story you are about to read is ficticious, but very true. There are so many rabbits that end up like Cinnamon, don't let yours be one of them. Consider all aspects when thinking about getting a rabbit or any pet as most people don't. A rabbit can live as long as a dog or cat and also can have vet bills just like them, so be prepared to love and care for the rabbit for all it's LIFE.

The rabbits that make it into rescues are the lucky ones as they are given a second chance or even a first chance depending on the circumstances, the most common reason for a rabbit coming into rescues is 'the children are bored of it and don't bother with it anymore'.

If you know of a rabbit in a situation like Cinnamon, then please try and approach the people concerned and give them the telephone number of their local rabbit rescue or even inform the RSPCA so that the rabbit can get a second chance in a forever home.
